कद्रु त्वया जितं भद्रे यत उच्चैःश्रवा हयः । चंद्ररश्मिप्रभोप्येष कल्माष इव भासते
kadru tvayā jitaṃ bhadre yata uccaiḥśravā hayaḥ | caṃdraraśmiprabhopyeṣa kalmāṣa iva bhāsate
“ഹേ കദ്രൂ, ഭദ്രേ, നീ ജയിച്ചു; കാരണം ഉച്ചൈഃശ്രവാ അശ്വം സത്യത്തിൽ നിന്റേതാണ്. ചന്ദ്രകിരണസമമായ പ്രഭയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അത് കല്മാഷംപോലെ പുള്ളിവർണ്ണമായി തോന്നുന്നു.”
