विनते विनतां मां त्वं किं नावसि पतत्त्रिणी । तव दासी भविष्यामि त्वदुच्छिष्टनिषेविणी
vinate vinatāṃ māṃ tvaṃ kiṃ nāvasi patattriṇī | tava dāsī bhaviṣyāmi tvaducchiṣṭaniṣeviṇī
ഹേ വിനതേ, ഹേ പതത്ത്രിണീ! ഞാൻ വിനീതയായി കുനിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു—നീ എന്നെ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് രക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല? ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദാസിയാകും; നിന്റെ ഉച്ഛിഷ്ടം സേവിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ജീവിക്കും.
