देवदेव उवाच । उत्तिष्ठोत्तिष्ठ भद्रं ते प्रसन्नोस्मि महामते । मित्रमन्नेत्रगो नित्यं प्रपश्ये तच्चराचरम्
devadeva uvāca | uttiṣṭhottiṣṭha bhadraṃ te prasannosmi mahāmate | mitramannetrago nityaṃ prapaśye taccarācaram
ദേവദേവൻ (ശിവൻ) അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—എഴുന്നേൽക്കുക, എഴുന്നേൽക്കുക; നിനക്കു മംഗളം വരട്ടെ, ഹേ മഹാമതേ. ഞാൻ പ്രസന്നനാണ്. മിത്രരൂപത്തിൽ നിന്റെ കണ്ണിൽ വസിച്ച്, ആ സമസ്ത ചരാചര ലോകം ഞാൻ നിത്യവും ദർശിക്കുന്നു।
