प्रजाविरहितो राजा कोशदुर्गबलादिभिः । समृद्धोप्यचिरान्नश्येत्कूलसंस्थ इव द्रुमः
prajāvirahito rājā kośadurgabalādibhiḥ | samṛddhopyacirānnaśyetkūlasaṃstha iva drumaḥ
പ്രജകളില്ലാത്ത രാജാവ്, ഖജനാവ്-കോട്ട-സൈന്യം മുതലായവയിൽ സമൃദ്ധനായാലും, ഉടൻ നശിക്കും—ഒലിച്ചുപോകുന്ന നദീതീരത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷംപോലെ।
