विधिहीनं तथाऽपात्रे यो ददाति प्रतिग्रहम् । न केवलं हि तद्याति शेषं तस्य च नश्यति
vidhihīnaṃ tathā'pātre yo dadāti pratigraham | na kevalaṃ hi tadyāti śeṣaṃ tasya ca naśyati
വിധിയില്ലാതെ, അപാത്രനു ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ആ ദാനം മാത്രം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നില്ല; അവന്റെ ശേഷിച്ച പുണ്യവും ധനവും കൂടി ക്ഷയിച്ച് നശിക്കുന്നു.
