परमेष्ठिवचः श्रुत्वा ततोसौ राजसत्तमः । वेधसं बहुशः स्तुत्वा वाक्यं चेदमुवाच ह
parameṣṭhivacaḥ śrutvā tatosau rājasattamaḥ | vedhasaṃ bahuśaḥ stutvā vākyaṃ cedamuvāca ha
പരമേഷ്ഠി (ബ്രഹ്മാ)യുടെ വചനങ്ങൾ ശ്രവിച്ച ആ രാജശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ വേധസ് (സൃഷ്ടികർത്താവ്)നെ പലവട്ടം സ്തുതിച്ച് പിന്നെ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു।
