ശുദ്ധമായ മണ്ണ്, ദർഭ, എള്ള്, ഗോമയം എന്നിവ എടുത്ത് ശുചിസ്ഥലത്ത് വെച്ച്, ആചമനം ചെയ്ത് ശേഷം സ്നാനം ചെയ്യണം।

Purity (śauca) is cultivated through mindful preparation and ritual order, not by the act alone.
Kāśī is the textual setting; the verse focuses on general bath-procedure rather than a named ghāṭa.
Prepare purificatory items, keep them in a clean place, perform ācāmana, and then bathe.
