स्कंद उवाच । सम्यगापृच्छि भवता काशीवासिसमाहितम् । कुंभसंभव विप्रर्षे दंडपाणि कथानकम्
skaṃda uvāca | samyagāpṛcchi bhavatā kāśīvāsisamāhitam | kuṃbhasaṃbhava viprarṣe daṃḍapāṇi kathānakam
സ്കന്ദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ കുംഭസಂಭവ വിപ്രശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! കാശിവാസിയും കാശിയിൽ സമാഹിതനുമായ ദണ്ഡപാണിയുടെ കഥ നീ യഥാർത്ഥമായി ചോദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
