tāvadgarjaṃti pāpāni brahatyādikānyalam | yāvannāma na śṛṇvaṃti kāśyāḥ pāpācalāśaneḥ

ബ്രഹ്മഹത്യാദി മഹാപാപങ്ങൾ കാശിയുടെ നാമം കേൾക്കാത്തിടത്തോളം മാത്രമേ ഗർജിക്കൂ; കാശിനാമം പാപപർവ്വതം തകർക്കുന്ന വജ്രംപോലെ ആണ്।
