व्योमांगणमनर्कं च नक्तेऽदीपं यथा गृहम । अवेदा ब्राह्मणा यद्वद्गंगाहीनास्तथा दिशः
vyomāṃgaṇamanarkaṃ ca nakte'dīpaṃ yathā gṛhama | avedā brāhmaṇā yadvadgaṃgāhīnāstathā diśaḥ
സൂര്യനില്ലാത്ത ആകാശം നിഷ്പ്രഭമായതുപോലെ, രാത്രിയിൽ ദീപമില്ലാത്ത വീട് വ്യർത്ഥമായതുപോലെ, വേദമില്ലാത്ത ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ഗൗരവഹീനനായതുപോലെ—ഗംഗയില്ലാതെ ദിക്കുകൾ ദീനമാകുന്നു।
