Transliteration

janakaḥ śubhatithyādau videśagamanāpaham | ṣaṣṭhe'nnaprāśanaṃmāsi na kṛtaṃ vidhipūrvakam

Translation

ശുഭ തിഥിയിൽ വിദേശഗമനദോഷം അകറ്റുന്നതെന്നു പറയുന്ന ആ കർമവും പിതാവ് അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചില്ല; ആറാം മാസത്തിൽ ശിശുവിന്റെ അന്നപ്രാശനം വിധിപൂർവ്വം നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തില്ല।
