शिवशर्मोवाच । सत्यलोकेश्वर विधे सर्वेषां प्रपितामह । किंचिद्विज्ञप्तुकामोस्मि न भयाद्वक्तुमुत्सहे
śivaśarmovāca | satyalokeśvara vidhe sarveṣāṃ prapitāmaha | kiṃcidvijñaptukāmosmi na bhayādvaktumutsahe
ശിവശർമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ സത്യലോകേശ്വരനായ വിധാതാ ബ്രഹ്മാവേ, സർവ്വജീവികളുടെ പ്രപിതാമഹാ! എനിക്ക് ഒരു അപേക്ഷ സമർപ്പിക്കാനുണ്ട്; എന്നാൽ ഭയത്താൽ പറയാൻ ധൈര്യമില്ല।
