sadā madaṃ parityajya pramādaikapadapradam | pramādaikaśaraṇyaṃ ca saṃpadāṃ vinivartakam

Translation

എപ്പോഴും മദവും ദർപ്പവും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണം; കാരണം പ്രമാദം തന്നെയാണ് പതനത്തിന്റെ ഏകദ്വാരം. അതുതന്നെ വിനാശത്തിന്റെ ഏകാശ്രയം; സമ്പത്തിനെ നഷ്ടത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിക്കുന്നു.
