इत्यनुज्ञामनुप्राप्य जननी चरणांबुजौ । क्षणं मौलिजजंबाल जडौ कृत्वा ध्रुवो ययौ

ഇങ്ങനെ അനുമതി ലഭിച്ച ധ്രുവൻ, അമ്മയുടെ പദ്മപാദങ്ങളെ ഒരു ക്ഷണം തലമുടിയുടെ വലയാൽ ചേർത്തുപിടിച്ച് നിശ്ചലമാക്കി, പിന്നെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
