पुर्यष्टकं च दुष्टेभ्यो देवध्रुग्भ्यो ह्यवंति ते । प्रयच्छंति वरान्नित्यं शिवभक्तजने वराः
puryaṣṭakaṃ ca duṣṭebhyo devadhrugbhyo hyavaṃti te | prayacchaṃti varānnityaṃ śivabhaktajane varāḥ
അവർ ദുഷ്ടരിലും ദേവദ്രോഹികളിലും നിന്നു ഈ അഷ്ടപുരിയെ സദാ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. ആ ശ്രേഷ്ഠർ ശിവഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്ക് നിത്യവും വരങ്ങൾ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നു.
