अनुत्तरं नाम तपो येन तप्तं हि तत्पुरा । त्रीणिवर्षसहस्राणि दिव्यानीतीह नौ श्रुतम्
anuttaraṃ nāma tapo yena taptaṃ hi tatpurā | trīṇivarṣasahasrāṇi divyānītīha nau śrutam
പുരാതനകാലത്ത് അദ്ദേഹം ‘അനുത്തര’ എന്ന പേരിലുള്ള തപസ് അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു. മൂവായിരം ദിവ്യവർഷങ്ങൾ ആ തപസ് ചെയ്തു—എന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ കേട്ടത്.
