kva sā parvatadeśīyā caṃdrakāṃtaśilodbhavā | dīpikā vyagrahastāgrā sālaṃkṛcchālabhaṃjikā

Translation

പർവ്വതദേശത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച ചന്ദ്രകാന്തശിലോദ്ഭവമായ ആ ദീപിക എവിടെയാണ്? വ്യഗ്രമായ കൈയുടെ അഗ്രത്തിൽ അതിന്റെ ജ്വാല കുലുങ്ങി, അലങ്കൃതമായി, ഗൃഹദീപ്തിയെയും മീതെക്കടക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തിളങ്ങുന്നു.
