कृतप्रणाममालिंग्य जिघ्रंस्तन्मुखपंकजम् । पुनर्जातमिवामंस्त पश्यंश्चापि मुहुर्मुहुः
kṛtapraṇāmamāliṃgya jighraṃstanmukhapaṃkajam | punarjātamivāmaṃsta paśyaṃścāpi muhurmuhuḥ
ശിശു പ്രണാമം ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ അവൻ അതിനെ ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്തു, അതിന്റെ പദ്മമുഖത്തിന്റെ സുഗന്ധം നുകർന്നു; അത് പുതുതായി ജനിച്ചതുപോലെ കരുതി, വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും നോക്കി നിന്നു।
