मा मारयध्वं त्रायध्वं भटाः कार्पटिका वयम् । अनायासं लुंठयध्वं नयध्वं च यदस्ति नः
mā mārayadhvaṃ trāyadhvaṃ bhaṭāḥ kārpaṭikā vayam | anāyāsaṃ luṃṭhayadhvaṃ nayadhvaṃ ca yadasti naḥ
“ഞങ്ങളെ കൊല്ലരുത്—ഹേ ഭടന്മാരേ, രക്ഷിക്കൂ! ഞങ്ങൾ ദരിദ്ര കാർപടിക ഭിക്ഷുക്കളാണ്. ഞങ്ങളോടുള്ളതെല്ലാം അനായാസം കൊള്ളയടിച്ച് എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടുപോകൂ.”
