na ciṃtayedaniṣṭāni tasmātkṛṣṭiḥ kadācana | vidhidṛṣṭaṃ yato bhāvi kaluṣaṃbhāvi kevalam

Translation

അതുകൊണ്ട് അനിഷ്ടങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ചിന്തിച്ച് മനസ്സിനെ ക്ലേശിപ്പിക്കരുത്; അത്തരം വ്യാകുലത ഒരിക്കലും ഫലപ്രദമല്ല. വിധി കണ്ടതുപോലെ ഭാവിയാകുന്നതെല്ലാം നിർബന്ധമായി സംഭവിക്കും—കലുഷമായാലും നിർമലമായാലും അത് സംഭവിച്ചുതീരും.
