tasya kanyā mahābhāgā rūpayauvanaśālinī | nāmnā kāṃtimatī bālā vyacaratpituraṃtike

Translation

അവനു മഹാഭാഗ്യവതിയായ, രൂപയൗവനസമ്പന്നയായ ഒരു പുത്രി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ‘കാന്തിമതി’ എന്ന പേരുള്ള ആ ബാലിക പിതാവിന്റെ സമീപത്ത് സഞ്ചരിച്ചു സേവിച്ചു.
