पंचस्वपि च युक्तेषु किमु वक्तव्यमत्र हि । श्रवणं ज्योतिषां श्रेष्ठममा श्रेष्ठा तिथिष्वपि
paṃcasvapi ca yukteṣu kimu vaktavyamatra hi | śravaṇaṃ jyotiṣāṃ śreṣṭhamamā śreṣṭhā tithiṣvapi
അഞ്ചു ശുഭഘടകങ്ങളും ചേർന്നാൽ ഇവിടെ പിന്നെ എന്ത് പറയണം? നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളിൽ ശ്രവണമാണ് ശ്രേഷ്ഠം; തിഥികളിൽ അമാവാസ്യയും ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമമെന്നു കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു.
