ततः सहस्रानीकोऽयं तत्प्राप्य मणिकंकणम् । मृगावतीविप्रयोगविषाग्निपरिपीडितः

tataḥ sahasrānīko'yaṃ tatprāpya maṇikaṃkaṇam | mṛgāvatīviprayogaviṣāgniparipīḍitaḥ

അപ്പോൾ സഹസ്രാനീകൻ ആ മണിമയ കങ്കണം ലഭിച്ചയുടൻ മൃഗാവതിയുടെ വിരഹജന്യ വിഷാഗ്നിയിൽ ദഹിച്ച് അത്യന്തം പീഡിതനായി।
