Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 94

के युवां रूपसंपन्ने सर्वालंकारसंयुते । इति पप्रच्छ दृष्ट्वा ते काश्यपो हृष्टमानसः । तेन पृष्टे च गायत्रीसरस्वत्यौ तमूचतुः

ke yuvāṃ rūpasaṃpanne sarvālaṃkārasaṃyute | iti papraccha dṛṣṭvā te kāśyapo hṛṣṭamānasaḥ | tena pṛṣṭe ca gāyatrīsarasvatyau tamūcatuḥ

‘നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും ആരാണ്—രൂപസമ്പന്നരായി, സർവ്വാലങ്കാരങ്ങളാൽ യുക്തരായി?’ എന്ന് ഹർഷചിത്തനായ കാശ്യപൻ കണ്ടു ചോദിച്ചു. ചോദിച്ചതോടെ ഗായത്രിയും സരസ്വതിയും അവനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
