तथैवा स्त्विति सम्भाष्य तस्मिंस्तीर्थे तिरोहितम् । श्रीसूत उवाच । एवं वः कथितो विप्रा राक्षसस्स भवो मया
tathaivā stviti sambhāṣya tasmiṃstīrthe tirohitam | śrīsūta uvāca | evaṃ vaḥ kathito viprā rākṣasassa bhavo mayā
‘തഥാസ്തു’ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് അത് ആ തീർത്ഥത്തിൽ തന്നേ അപ്രത്യക്ഷമായി. ശ്രീസൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ വിപ്രന്മാരേ, ഇങ്ങനെ ആ രാക്ഷസന്റെ ഉത്ഭവം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
