Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 89

आच्छिद्य पक्षतुंडाभ्यां गृहीत्वाऽमृतमुद्ययौ । यंत्रमुत्पाट्य चोद्यंतं गरुडं प्राह माधवः

ācchidya pakṣatuṃḍābhyāṃ gṛhītvā'mṛtamudyayau | yaṃtramutpāṭya codyaṃtaṃ garuḍaṃ prāha mādhavaḥ

ചിറകുകളും കൊക്കുംകൊണ്ട് അവരെ കീറിമുറിച്ച് അവൻ അമൃതം പിടിച്ചു പറന്നു. യന്ത്രം പിഴുതെടുത്ത് ഉയർന്നു പറക്കുന്ന ഗരുഡനോട് അപ്പോൾ മാധവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
