Gālava
Scene: A garland-like sequence of Viṣṇu’s later avatāras appears as luminous forms around the praying sage: Nṛsiṃha bursting from a pillar, Vāmana with umbrella, Paraśurāma with axe, Rāma with bow, Balarāma with plough, Kṛṣṇa with flute, Kalki on a white horse.
Viṣṇu’s many descents reveal dharma-restoration in every era; devotion honors the One Lord through many saving forms.
The hymn belongs to the Dharmapuṣkariṇī-centered narrative within Setukhaṇḍa.
Recitation of avatāra-nāmas as an act of worship and remembrance during pūjā.
