इतीरितः सुचरितः शम्भुना मदनारिणा । सस्नौ विप्राः सर्वतीर्थे महादेवस्य संनिधौ

ഇങ്ങനെ മദനവൈരിയായ ശംഭുവിന്റെ ഉപദേശപ്രകാരം സുചരിതൻ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരോടുകൂടെ മഹാദേവന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ സർവതീർത്ഥത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്തു।
