युधिष्ठिर उवाच । कृष्णकृष्ण महाप्राज्ञ येन धर्मेण मानवाः । लभंते महदैश्वर्यं तन्नो ब्रूहि महामते । इत्युक्तो धर्मपुत्रेण कृष्णः प्राह युधिष्ठिरम्

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kṛṣṇakṛṣṇa mahāprājña yena dharmeṇa mānavāḥ | labhaṃte mahadaiśvaryaṃ tanno brūhi mahāmate | ityukto dharmaputreṇa kṛṣṇaḥ prāha yudhiṣṭhiram

യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ കൃഷ്ണാ, ഹേ കൃഷ്ണാ, മഹാപ്രാജ്ഞാ! ഏതു ധർമ്മം കൊണ്ടാണ് മനുഷ്യർ മഹത്തായ ഐശ്വര്യവും സമൃദ്ധിയും നേടുന്നത്? ഹേ മഹാമതേ, അത് ഞങ്ങളോട് പറയുക. ധർമ്മപുത്രൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ കൃഷ്ണൻ യുധിഷ്ഠിരനോട് പറഞ്ഞു।
