विस्तीर्णं चैव नः सैन्यं हन्याच्छिद्रेषु वा परः । प्लवोडुपप्रतारोऽतो नैवात्र मम रोचते
vistīrṇaṃ caiva naḥ sainyaṃ hanyācchidreṣu vā paraḥ | plavoḍupapratāro'to naivātra mama rocate
നമ്മുടെ സൈന്യം വളരെ വ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ശത്രു ഇടവിടങ്ങളിലെ ദുർബലസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ആക്രമിക്കാം. അതിനാൽ തെപ്പുകളും ചെറിയ നാവുകളും കൊണ്ട് കടക്കുന്നത് എനിക്ക് ഇവിടെ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല.
