शतयोजनमायातं मनसापि दुरासदम् । अतो नु विघ्ना बहवः कथं प्राप्या च मैथिली

śatayojanamāyātaṃ manasāpi durāsadam | ato nu vighnā bahavaḥ kathaṃ prāpyā ca maithilī

Translation

“ഞങ്ങൾ നൂറ് യോജന എത്തി; എങ്കിലും ഇത് (സമുദ്രം) മനസ്സുകൊണ്ടും അതിക്രമിക്കാൻ ദുഷ്കരം. അതിനാൽ പല വിഘ്നങ്ങളും ഉയരുന്നു; പിന്നെ മൈഥിലിയെ എങ്ങനെ പ്രാപിക്കും?”
