रणप्रवीणयोस्तत्र विजयद्रोणयो रणे । द्रष्टुं समागतैर्देवैरभूद्व्योमनिरं तरम्

raṇapravīṇayostatra vijayadroṇayo raṇe | draṣṭuṃ samāgatairdevairabhūdvyomaniraṃ taram

അവിടെ യുദ്ധനിപുണരായ വിജയം (അർജുനൻ)യും ദ്രോണനും പോരാടുമ്പോൾ, അത് കാണാൻ ദേവന്മാർ സമാഗമിച്ചു; ആകാശം ഇടവിടാതെ നിറഞ്ഞു.
