ഈ പുരാതന പുണ്യചരിതം പാരായണം ചെയ്യുകയും ശ്രവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്ക് ഇഹലോകത്തിലും പരലോകത്തിലും ക്ലേശമില്ല; ദാരിദ്ര്യവും ഉദിക്കുകയില്ല।
