tarppaṇaṃ pratyahaṃ kāryaṃ bhartuḥ kuśatilodakaiḥ | tatpitustatpituścāpi nāmagotrādipūrvakam

Translation

പ്രതിദിനം കുശയും എള്ളും ചേർത്ത ജലത്തോടെ ഭർത്താവിന് തർപ്പണം ചെയ്യണം; അതുപോലെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പിതാവിനും പിതാമഹനും നാമ‑ഗോത്രാദി ഉച്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തർപ്പണം ചെയ്യണം।
