na gacchettīrthayātrādivivāhaprekṣaṇā diṣu | sukhasuptaṃ sukhāsīnaṃ ramamāṇaṃ yadṛcchayā

Translation

അവൾ തീർത്ഥയാത്ര മുതലായവയ്ക്കു പോകരുത്; വിവാഹദർശനം പോലുള്ള ചടങ്ങുകളിലേക്കും പോകരുത്. ഭർത്താവ് യാദൃച്ഛികമായി സുഖമായി ഉറങ്ങുകയോ, സുഖാസീനനായിരിക്കുകയോ, ആനന്ദത്തിലിരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്താലും, അവനെ അവഗണിച്ച് സ്വേച്ഛയായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കരുത്.
