दातुः श्राद्धफलं नास्ति भोक्ता किल्बिषभुग्भवेत् । न धारयेदन्यभुक्तं वासश्चोपानहावपि
dātuḥ śrāddhaphalaṃ nāsti bhoktā kilbiṣabhugbhavet | na dhārayedanyabhuktaṃ vāsaścopānahāvapi
അർപ്പിച്ചതിനെ അനുചിതമായി ഭുജിച്ചാൽ ദാതാവിന്റെ ശ്രാദ്ധഫലം നശിക്കും; ഭോക്താവ് പാപഭാഗിയാകും. മറ്റൊരാൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച വസ്ത്രവും പാദരക്ഷയും ധരിക്കരുത്.
