आचम्य च ततः कुर्यात्प्राज्ञो द्वारावलोकनम् । मुहूर्तस्याष्टमं भागमुदीक्षेतातिथिं ततः
ācamya ca tataḥ kuryātprājño dvārāvalokanam | muhūrtasyāṣṭamaṃ bhāgamudīkṣetātithiṃ tataḥ
ആചമനം ചെയ്ത് ശേഷം പ്രാജ്ഞൻ വാതിലോട്ടു നോക്കണം. ഒരു മുഹൂർത്തത്തിന്റെ എട്ടിലൊരുഭാഗം സമയം വരെ അതിഥിയുടെ വരവ് കാത്തുനോക്കണം.
