अतो जगत्स्थितं सर्वं ब्राह्मणोऽर्हति नापरः । सदाचारो हि सर्वार्हो नाचाराद्विच्युतः पुनः
ato jagatsthitaṃ sarvaṃ brāhmaṇo'rhati nāparaḥ | sadācāro hi sarvārho nācārādvicyutaḥ punaḥ
അതുകൊണ്ട് സമസ്ത ജഗത്തിന്റെ നിലനിൽപ്പ് (ധർമ്മത്തിൽ) ആശ്രിതമാണ്; ബ്രാഹ്മണനേയാണ് ആദരാർഹൻ, മറ്റാരുമല്ല. സദാചാരത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നവൻ സർവ്വാദരത്തിനും യോഗ്യൻ; എന്നാൽ ആചാരച്യുതൻ വീണ്ടും യോഗ്യനല്ല.
