ब्रह्मोवाच । स्वस्थाने वाडवाः सर्वे हर्षनिर्भरमानसाः । अग्निहोत्रपरा केऽपि केऽपि यज्ञपरायणाः
brahmovāca | svasthāne vāḍavāḥ sarve harṣanirbharamānasāḥ | agnihotraparā ke'pi ke'pi yajñaparāyaṇāḥ
ബ്രഹ്മാവ് പറഞ്ഞു—വാഡവരൊക്കെയും തങ്ങളുടെ തത്തസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ തന്നെ നിലകൊണ്ടു; ഹർഷം നിറഞ്ഞ മനസ്സോടെയായിരുന്നു അവർ. ചിലർ അഗ്നിഹോത്രത്തിൽ നിഷ്ഠരായി, ചിലർ യജ്ഞങ്ങളിൽ പരായണരായി.
