यस्य वर्गस्य यो विप्रो न प्रयास्यति तत्र वै । स च वर्गात्परित्याज्यः स्थानधर्मान्न संशयः
yasya vargasya yo vipro na prayāsyati tatra vai | sa ca vargātparityājyaḥ sthānadharmānna saṃśayaḥ
ഏത് ബ്രാഹ്മണനാണോ തൻ്റെ വർഗ്ഗത്തോടൊപ്പം (സമൂഹത്തോടൊപ്പം) പോകാത്തത്, അവനെ ആ വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നിസ്സംശയം പുറത്താക്കേണ്ടതാണ്; ഇതാണ് സ്ഥനധർമ്മം.
