प्रतिग्रहस्य स्वीकारं कथं कुर्याम ह द्विजाः । न तांबूलं स्त्रीकृतं नो ह्यद्मो दानेन भषितम्

Transliteration

pratigrahasya svīkāraṃ kathaṃ kuryāma ha dvijāḥ | na tāṃbūlaṃ strīkṛtaṃ no hyadmo dānena bhaṣitam

Translation

ഹേ ദ്വിജന്മാരേ, ഞങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെ പ്രതിഗ്രഹം (ദാനം സ്വീകരിക്കൽ) ചെയ്യും? സ്ത്രീ തയ്യാറാക്കിയ താംബൂലവും ഞങ്ങൾ കഴിക്കുകയില്ല; ദാനത്താൽ ദൂഷിതമായതും ഭുജിക്കുകയില്ല.
