ब्रह्मोवाच । वसिष्ठवचनं श्रुत्वा रामो धर्मभृतां वरः । परं हर्षमनुप्राप्य हृदयानंदकारकम्
brahmovāca | vasiṣṭhavacanaṃ śrutvā rāmo dharmabhṛtāṃ varaḥ | paraṃ harṣamanuprāpya hṛdayānaṃdakārakam
ബ്രഹ്മാവ് പറഞ്ഞു—വസിഷ്ഠന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ ശ്രവിച്ചപ്പോൾ, ധർമ്മധാരികളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ രാമൻ ഹൃദയത്തെ ആനന്ദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പരമഹർഷം പ്രാപിച്ചു.
