देवानामालयं यस्मात्तदेव भुवि दुर्लभम् । कुरुक्षेत्रे नरो राम ग्रहणे चन्द्रसूर्ययोः
devānāmālayaṃ yasmāttadeva bhuvi durlabham | kurukṣetre naro rāma grahaṇe candrasūryayoḥ
ഹേ രാമാ! ഇത് ദേവന്മാരുടെ ആലയമായതിനാൽ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഇത്തരമൊരു പുണ്യക്ഷേത്രം ദുർലഭമാണ്. കുരുക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ചന്ദ്രഗ്രഹണമോ സൂര്യഗ്രഹണമോ നടക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത്, മനുഷ്യന് മഹാപുണ്യം ലഭിക്കുന്നു.
