यावत्त्रस्तमृगीदृष्टिं चपलां न विलोकयेत् । तावन्माता पिता तावद्धाता तावत्ससुहृज्जनः

yāvattrastamṛgīdṛṣṭiṃ capalāṃ na vilokayet | tāvanmātā pitā tāvaddhātā tāvatsasuhṛjjanaḥ

മനസ്സിനെ കലക്കിക്കുന്ന ചപലമായ ഭീതമൃഗീസദൃശ ദൃഷ്ടിയെ നോക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നതോളം, മാതാപിതാക്കൾ തന്നെയാണ് സത്യരക്ഷകർ; അതോളം വിധാതാവും സഹായിയായി നിൽക്കും, സുഹൃദ്ജനങ്ങളും അചഞ്ചലരായിരിക്കും।
