snātvā yaḥ kurute cātra pitṛpiṃḍodakakriyāḥ | pitarastasya tṛpyaṃti yāvadbrahmadivāniśam

സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് ഇവിടെ പിതൃപിണ്ഡവും ഉദകക്രിയകളും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്റെ പിതൃകൾ ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ പകലും രാത്രിയും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നത്ര കാലം തൃപ്തരായിരിക്കും।
