मंत्रयामास रुद्रेण ब्रह्मणा च पुनःपुनः । मीमांसित्वा त्रयो देवाः पुनर्युद्धसमुद्यमम्
maṃtrayāmāsa rudreṇa brahmaṇā ca punaḥpunaḥ | mīmāṃsitvā trayo devāḥ punaryuddhasamudyamam
അവൻ രുദ്രനോടും ബ്രഹ്മാവോടും വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ആലോചിച്ചു; വിചാരിച്ച് ആ മൂന്നു ദേവന്മാർ വീണ്ടും യുദ്ധത്തിനായി ഒരുങ്ങി।
