तत्र स्थितं स गोवत्समपश्यन्नृपतिः स्वयम् । यावद्गृह्णाति तं तावल्लिंगं जातं समुज्वलम्
tatra sthitaṃ sa govatsamapaśyannṛpatiḥ svayam | yāvadgṛhṇāti taṃ tāvalliṃgaṃ jātaṃ samujvalam
അവിടെ രാജാവ് സ്വയം നിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഗോവത്സത്തെ കണ്ടു. അതിനെ പിടിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങിയ ഉടനെ ദിവ്യപ്രഭയോടെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന ശിവലിംഗം പെട്ടെന്ന് പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു.
