शिववाण्युवाच । हे लोका मा भयं वोऽस्तु उपायः श्रूयतामयम् । कश्चिच्चंडालमानीय मत्पुरः स्थाप्यतां धुवम्
śivavāṇyuvāca | he lokā mā bhayaṃ vo'stu upāyaḥ śrūyatāmayam | kaściccaṃḍālamānīya matpuraḥ sthāpyatāṃ dhuvam
ശിവവാണി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ജനങ്ങളേ! നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഭയം വേണ്ട; ഈ ഉപായം കേൾക്കുക. ഒരു ചണ്ഡാലനെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഉറച്ചതായി നിർത്തുക.
