व्यास उवाच । अतः परं प्रवक्ष्यामि ब्रह्मणा यत्कृतं पुरा । तत्सर्वं कथयाम्यद्य शृणुष्वैकाग्रमानसः
vyāsa uvāca | ataḥ paraṃ pravakṣyāmi brahmaṇā yatkṛtaṃ purā | tatsarvaṃ kathayāmyadya śṛṇuṣvaikāgramānasaḥ
വ്യാസൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇനി ഞാൻ പുരാതനകാലത്ത് ബ്രഹ്മാവ് ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്ന് വിശദീകരിക്കുന്നു. ഇന്ന് അതെല്ലാം ഞാൻ പറയാം; ഏകാഗ്രമനസ്സോടെ ശ്രവിക്കൂ।
