ततः प्रववृते युद्धं देवीकर्णाटयोस्तथा । ऋषीणां पश्यतां तत्र वणिजां च द्विजन्मनाम्
tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṃ devīkarṇāṭayostathā | ṛṣīṇāṃ paśyatāṃ tatra vaṇijāṃ ca dvijanmanām
അതിനുശേഷം ദേവിയും കർണാടനും തമ്മിൽ യുദ്ധം ആരംഭിച്ചു; അവിടെ ഋഷിമാരും വണിക്കരും ദ്വിജന്മാരും അത് കണ്ടുനിന്നു।
